I have taken over as Chief General Manager Haryana Telecom Circle on 21.08.2008. It is a matter of proud for me to lead this Circle which has the rich heritage - the origin of “THE HOLY GEETA”

Haryana Telecom Circle has always been at the forefront of providing various types of telecom services to its esteemed customers. Bfone, Mobile Phones, WLL, ISDN, IN Services, Video Conferencing, Audio Conferencing, Internet, Broadband , Leased Circuits, MPLS VPN etc. are available in the urban as well as in remotely located rural areas. In addition to these services, numbers of additional services are being launched shortly. The main projects being launched in the near future are given below;

1. Tele- Education Project: This project is being launched by  G-Telecom for the BSNL Broad Band Customers through out the country.
2. Broadband Services: Broadband Services have been proposed for 663 Rural Exchanges in the first phase and in some of the Rural Exchanges this service is operational.
3. Mobile Services: New attractive services are also being launched for our esteemed customers.

This year has been declared as the “Customer Care Year” by our worthy CMD and we are committed to implement his vision in the true spirit by adopting a policy that the customers need not to come to any of the officer to avail any service. To achieve this, we are introducing the facility to access this Call Centre through Mobile, SMS and e-mail shortly, in addition to land line. Backend support is also being strengthened for expeditious disposal of Subscriber’s requirement.

We are also starting the e-mail service in the Circle to call for the suggestions from our esteemed customers, as a step to transform our customer care services for better utilization. Similar service will also be introduced at SSA level.

We are further committed to concentrate for the better telecom services in the rural areas as well. The awareness program for rural areas regarding Broadband Services has been completed in the four SSAs in the first phase in collaboration with M/S Intel through a mobile van. Remaining SSAs shall also be covered shortly.

At the same time we are going to adopt the Corporate Social Responsibility Policy to be with the affected persons during Disasters and calamities etc., being a part of the society.

Similarly we are proposing certain measures for the welfare of the staff. Regular adalats at Circle/SSA level shall also be arranged at regular intervals to sort out the grievances of the staff on priority.
